The St Augustine 2-Day Tour HAS BEEN CANCELED/ IT IS WITH GREAT REGRET THAT WE HAVE HAD TO POSTPONE OUR UPCOMING SPRING TOUR TO ST AUGUSTINE DUE TO WEATHER! WE HAVE CANCELED ALL HOTEL RESERVATIONS AT THE BEST WESTERN BAYFRONT FOR ALL IN OUR GROUP. If you have not been watching the weather, our trip for Wednesday and Thursday this week will provide us with horrible weather. The forecast is for soaking rain, northeast wind 20-30 mph and horrible Model A conditions for both days. Rain chances are presently 81% on Wednesday and 59% on Thursday. Not the kind of Spring Tour weather we wanted. We did not take this action lightly, but considered both the safety aspects as well as the “fun factor.” Driving up A1A in the driving rain with a 30 mph wind off the ocean does not make for a great day in the “A”. While weather does change, it seems that Monday-Thursday looks bad for most of Florida. We will still do this trip at some point at a time to be determined. Unfortunately we were up against a three-day cancelation policy for the hotel, and had to make a decision today in order to avoid any monetary penalties. Hotel cancelation was done through the hotel itself. Please contact one another to be sure everyone has the word. Some do not regularly check email, so it is vital that we ensure that everyone knows!

PLEASE NOTE: If you decide to stay elsewhere in St Augustine, you will NOT be able to park your car at the Best Western Bayfront to walk to dinner and explore old St Augustine! Parking at the hotel is restricted to only registered guests and is attended 24/7. Parking in the historic area is very difficult.
