We have been asked to participate in a retirement home car show for the residents of Vitality Living Lake Forest in Sanford on Saturday, October 11 from 10 AM until Noon. The Vitality Living Lake Forest, a retirement home, is located at 5433 West SR 46, Sanford, FL, just west of Interstate 4. The event is from 10 AM to 12 noon, and includes free lunch. There is no registration or fee, but a firm commitment is required to participate as space is restricted to twenty antique and classic cars, and we want to be sure to have all twenty spaces filled. This show will provide a source of memories and stories for the residents and guests of the retirement home who will come out to view the cars, trade stories and reminisce about their younger days. We have done these shows in the past and they are absolutely wonderful. At this point we are bringing our Tudor and one of the Porsches to the show. The Crankin’ A’s are providing support for this show which goes from 10 am to 2 pm. Arrive at the Holly Hill City Hall, 1065 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill, by 9 am to park your car and assist with other show participants. Proceeds benefit school supplies for local Holly Hill schools.
Meet at Minnesota Avenue and North Woodland Boulevard at 8:30 AM for lineup. Parade starts at 10, lunch will follow.
At the DeLand Airport. Continue to honor our Veterans with participation in this great show at the American Legion. After the parade, then lunch, then a great car show, all in Delightful DeLand!
2nd Annual Charity Car Show with all proceeds benefiting DeLand’s own “Duvall Homes” since 1945 helping special needs kids and ones with developmental disabilities. Duvall Homes have been faced with financial difficulties and need the communities’s help. Please help St Johns Masonic Lodge #37 “give back” to this amazing charity! All makes and model vehicles welcome. We also accept and giveaway or silent auction items. Live music by Muddy Marshall! Awards, activities for the whole family!
Let's flood the monthly Downtown DeLand Car Show with great Model A's! This show is normally attended by 75-125 customs, antiques, classics, restorations and hot rods from central Florida. January will feature the FORD MODEL A! Plenty of great restaurants and shops downtown add to the fun and excitement.
