So here we are already to May - summer is almost here.  Before the 2026 Hurricane Season gets here on June first, let's take. moment to see what has happened so far this year.

Our project car/truck is going well.  In April the body got greened, the fenders got blacked and the chassis got bodied and rendered.  It's actually coming along really well.  And while we give our resident wooden body builder gets a lot of heat about building the body, his dedication to the tasks of making a pickup truck body out of wood iz impressive.  Work is progressing well, and it is something that we should all be proud of.

More and more we hear about the unique nature of the Crainkin' A's with our Garage and our events.  Again, a source of pride.  And we "showed off" with the Settlement's Spring Frolic - and have the opportunity to do it again in November with the Settlement's 50th Anniversary - and our annual Model A Days.  

So as I prepare for a few months in Vermont while watching the Weather Channel for Florida Hurricane coverage, I want to assure everyone that I will be back when the storm predictions have subsided a bit.  Driving a Model A or a Harley Davidson in eighty mile an hour winds and sideways rain is not on my summer "To Do" list.
