SHOOTOUT ON THE BEST RUNNING CARBURETOR - Copy

As I continue to make improvements to my Model A,   I tested three rebuilt carburetors.

Three carburetors tested:
Zenith
Tillison
Marvel Schebler also called Wheeler-Schebler

Each carburetor was carefully rebuilt adjusted on my car.
Results:
First place  - Marvel    Second place   Tillison   Third -Zenith
Performance improvement with the Marvel was observed immediately. Car was very responsive accelerating. Idle was super smooth. Down shifting gears also appeared to improve due to rpm falls of quickly with foot off the gas pedal.
Tillison comes in a close second. Smooth idle and good acceleration but noticebly not as peppy as th Marvel.
To give Zenith benifit of the doubt, I tested 3 different Zenith carbs. Each one performed differently but none matched with the performance of the Tillison and Marvel.
